Normalize Moods
Shows kids that feelings happen, even when nothing is “wrong.”

This book makes me laugh because it feels way too real. It’s perfect for teaching kids that sometimes you’re grumpy and you don’t even know why, and that’s allowed. Even though it’s not bilingual, I still use it to talk about feelings in Spanish after we read. It takes the shame out of a bad mood and turns it into something you can name and move through.

Gives simple words and examples for talking about grumpiness and change.
Great for pausing to ask, “Have you felt like this?” in either language.
